So what did everyone think of the reunion? Feedback thread! Please post.

We would love to know what worked, what didn't, any ideas, etc. Would people be interested in getting together every other year for a small function (dinner, house party, etc)?

Personally, I enjoyed it thoroughly.

The people were the best part. One thing I would do different is start contacting people earlier to get personal emails, phone numbers, etc. and put it on others to personally invite each other. I was glad to see all of you, but there were a few I wish had showed up. Also, to plan an after party a little sooner so there was no going around and asking what everyone thought. Tin Roof worked quite well.

I would be totally for getting together each year and seeing who showed up. Who has a big enough house?

Each year? I say every weekend.

The reunion was awesome! We had such a good time. It was so good to see everyone again!

Allen, it was nice to meet Karmen. We loved talking with her.

Phillip, I wish you would have came to the reunion. It would have been so good to see you again.

Brandi, my husband enjoyed talking to you and your husband. We were looking for you guys when we got to Tin Roof. We got lucky on a parking spot. We were coming into the parking lot when someone was leaving that was parked in the 1st row.

Dave, what happened to you Saturday night?! I was so bummed you weren't there! But, I agree with Allen...I think that people spreading the word needs to be a bigger part of the plan. In my mind, everybody that missed the reunion missed more than a little chit chat...it was awesome getting to see EVERYONE!!!! Can't wait to do it again soon!

I hate I didn't make the reunion. People at my G-dad's 90th bday party didn't leave until late. Then I helped G-momma clean some. I figured there wasn't much point in showing up for the last 15 min. ..How was I to know there'd be an after party?

I just wanted to say how nice it was to see everyone. Life has been crazy on my side of the world and I meant to reply sooner. It was great to see everyone at both the ballgame and the reunion. It has been a long time since I have seen anybody. I think that it would be wonderful to get together more often. Even if it is just a small group not the entire class. I don't know if we will be able to make it to MOss Wright Park on the 25th. We have 4 birthdays from the 19th to the 31st and Johnny's reunion as well as Halloween. Life seems to be super crazy this time of year. If we don't make it, I hope you all have a GREAT time and that maybe we can do this again sometime soon.

Hello all...so I've finally recuperated from the reunion. I can't even tell you how awesome it was to see everybody. This made my year!!! Just to let you know, there is a survey on the class of 98 website to get a feel of what people thought and what we should do next time. If you get a minute please fill it out! The general concensus so far is that people thought it was great, but wish that it had been longer. Note taken! Anyway, hope to see y'all at Moss Wright!

I loved the reunion!! It was better than I expected. Bethany and all those involved in planning did a great job. So, Thank you Bethany, especially for convincing me to attend. I will admit that I'm still feeling good about seeing everybody again.

An interesting thing happened though - as I caught up with everyone, especially those that I was closest to, the 10 years faded away. It was like we hadn't seen each other in a few months rather than years. The feeling opened me up to realizing that Highschool made a bigger impact on my life than I had originally thought.

It was a real pleasure to see everybody.

Adam, you just made my night...your thoughtful comments made all of the hard work worthwhile (and everyone else's comments, too!). I have to agree with you about the years seeming like months. I realized that after the first meeting I had with the girls about planning the reunion. We could hardly get anything accomplished that first meeting because we were catching up and remembering old times!

We all have things about high school that we would have changed, or moments that earned the title of "crisis of the week" (at least I know I had a crisis a week!), but for every negative memory I have of my high school experience I have 10 positive memories to take its place. I've talked to so many people over the years who were scarred by their high school experience, and I simply don't have alot to offer in those conversations. Imagine that...me, not having something to say!

I feel so blessed to have been a "lifer" at Goodpasture...I was reminded of that the entire night of the reunion and as I reflected on it afterward. Y'all are the best...thanks for coming and I am so looking forward to seeing those who can make it to Moss Wright.

"Law don't go around here.... Ya Savvy" was a quote from Tombstone. Ike said it to Wyatt in the bar when he found out who Wyatt was. Ike called him "Law Dog."

Wyatt also said "Go ahead... Skin that smoke-wagon and see what happens" to Billy Bob Thornton's idiot bully character in the casino. Then he cleared him out and got a percentage cut of the income. Lawdogs must be pretty clever.

Also, I read about his early life. When his family was moving across our continent to the Western frontier, he killed Indians who were attacking the wagon train. This was his early experience with injustice and righting wrongs with a gun. Back then guns were very important out in that part of the country. He's quite a hero.

The girls who put together our reunion are pretty heroic, too. I'm glad that I got to go. I was glad to see every face there, along with new faces of girlfriends, wives, husbands, etc. Thanks for making it possible, y'all!
