Class of 1998 Moss-Wright Park meet. Oct. 25th.

The idea has been kicked around for a bit and I have decided to pick up the ball. I really hate that I had to miss the official reunion and I know several of you feel the same way. So here is another chance for those who were unable to attend to see each other and chance for those who couldn't get enough to get a little more. I hope no one minds me doing this, I don't want to step on any toes.

The date is Sat. October 25th, 5pm-8pm @ Moss-Wright Park Shelter 1. This event is free. Children are more than welcome. There will be a few snacks and drinks for everyone, but if you want some real food you should plan to bring your own.

Hey David! I won't be able to make that date. We have our annual fall family get together the weekend before Halloween. Could we do the 18th? Let me know! Thanks! Where were you....I thought you were coming to the reunion?!

The 18th wouldn't be a problem. That is actually the date I originally suggested. But when I looked at renting a shelter they are all reserved until 6pm or later. Except one that is reserved until 5:30pm. I guess we could shoot for that one, but you never know if the previous occupants will linger or leave it trashed.

Yeah, I wanted to go to the reunion. We had a 90th Bday party for my grandfather and I thought I could make both events. Turns out I was wrong. Oh well.. -$50 or so.

I can do the 25th but not the 18th, what about a Sunday? Some of us have to work on SAturdays.

So I guess I should probly just pick a date and plan on it. B/c i figure no matter what day I pick, someone will have a problem with it.

As long as its not a state park I believe alcohol is allowed. But some city parks have adopted some of the states rules.

I figure: who is gonna know, who is gonna tell? It's not like any 's will be there.

park cops are worse than real cops. One wanted to ticket me at ceader hill for having bottle rockets in my car because they are an explosive device.

Well, that's Ceader Hill man! That park is different, for many reasons which I won't get into. I've been busted there too.

Okay, I made a reservation. Sorry Tisha, but there were already reservations for the 18th.
Now what are we gonna do about food? I have never organized an event before so you all are going to have to help me make sure I cover everything.

The 25th is cool. I may have to leave a little early, but I will be there! I can't wait! I'm really excited about this one. I am so wearing comfy shoes and clothes to this one...yay!!! As for food, I think we should just bring enough for our own family.....that is so much easier than trying to order food unless everyone just wants to do potluck! Just let me know and also let me know what I owe you for my part of the rental fee! Thanks for taking the initiative David!!

I want to make it clear to everyone that this is a FREE event. I did reserve the shelter, but let me worry about the bill. I want everyone and anyone to come and enjoy w/o paying a dime. I won't promise anything, but I may have some water and chips or something for everyone. But if you are gonna want some real food I suggest you byo. Sounds like a plan to me.

Why don't everyone bring maybe some kind of snack food to have? If you want real food bring it yourself...I know I can make some brownies or something to bring if you want...

I really want to come but I'll be out of town all weekend. I hope everyone has a good time and I hope that we do this again.

Can I get a better idea? We are a week away.


I'd also like to get an idea of who is bringing what. I suppose I should bring: paper plates, plastic cups, water/cokes. BYOB of course.

Christian has a soccer tournament all weekend, but I am going t try and make it. Hopefully a better answer tomorrow as I am always on here while Karmen is asleep.

Well I hope some people show up. I didn't reserve a shelter to sit around with my thumb up my arse.

Being as how it is 2 days away. I plan to bring (for everyone) water, plastic cups, paper towels and plates. Can anyone think of anyhting else I should bring?

I hope that everyone had a wonderful time at Moss Wright. I am sorry that we missed it. Larkin has an infection and we have been at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. I hate that we missed it. Maybe we can get together again sometime soon.
