| I would def like to see Cary Elwes make a come back. His appearance in "Kiss the Girls" was totally out of character for him, in my opinion. Brendan hasn't done too bad with the "Mummy" movies, but I would like to see more. The Corey's made an attempt at a comeback with their own TV show. I don't think it went over well.
I would like to see Jennifer Connelly do more films.

| Connelly was in one of my favorite movies, Requiem for a Dream about 7 years ago. If you haven't seen it, pick it up. A little hard to watch for some at the end, but fantastic movie. Jared Leto stars. | |

| The Corey's have lost boys 2, it will probably be like the tv show and suck.
I miss Chuck Norris, Fred Savage, Jenna Jamison, Estelle Getty, Chris Elloitt, Dabny Coleman, and any other shite actor.

| Fred Savage played a way creepy serial rapist on Law & Order SVU. He was really good in that role. I thought he was sure to make a come back after that. You know, have his face back out there. It just didn't happen. All those poor child actors of the 80s are so disinfranchized. | |

| I just watched Gremlins on Monday night and had completely forgotten that Corey Feldman was in that movie. And I watched The Princess Bride on Sunday. Fred Savage was so little. | |

| I agree - Jennifer Connelly. I liked Requiem for a Dream also, but I also liked her roles in "A Beautiful Mind," "Career Opportunities," and "Dark Water." She is great.
I'm always on the lookout for movies with Steve Martin in them.

| Feldman, the Goonies was his best role as Mouth. I think when he did Meatballs was when I knew his career was all down hill. | |

| I saw that they're coming out with another Mummy movie. I only saw the movie poster, not a preview. But the poster was so kick-ass that I want to see it just based on that! | |

| Kevin Costner has a new movie coming out. I watched Dances With Wolves the other night with my family, great movie, but what a one dimensional actor. I would like to see him make a comeback. | |

| Kevin Costner one dimensional? I wouldn't quite put it that way. Now Keanu Reeves is one dimensional. Or maybe even 1/2 dimensional. I would like to see Keanu make a comeback. He does comedy fairly well. Like a modern Cheech/Chong. But I tell you waht, he can brood as well. He did well in Dracula, even if it wasn't a large part. Also, he was simply wonderful in Much Ado About Nothing. He was very believable unlike in other films where you just wonder what the heck the casting person was thinking. | |

| Keanu doing the role of super-angry wife beater in "The Gift," also starring Hilary Swank, Cate Blanchett, astounded me as he was so purely evil, vicious, and cruel in that role. He's a good actor. It jousted with my idea of him. Similarly, when Dennis Hopper did "Blue Velvet," it took my breath away how vicious he was! The mark of a good actor, appearing gregarious and a jerk in one role, solitary and quiet in the next, murderous and vengeful in the third, etc.
When you say the word "one-dimensional," do you mean that he is shallow and self-absorbed...an egomaniac, in his acting? Or do you mean he only plays one type of role?

| For one-dimensional, I mean that he plays the same character, same voice, same accent, same facial expressions in every movie.
Don't get me wrong, I love Costner.
Heather, you couldn't be more right, Keanu will go down in history as the most one-dimensional actor in history. He was awesome in Bill and Ted and did a good job in Parenthood. Funny thing is, I love all of his movies. Point Break is a classic. Johnny Utah, hah! Could they have come up with a cheesier name to match his cheesy acting?
Did anyone see him in Constantine? I enjoyed the movie until he ruined it for me by giving the devil the finger. Honorable mention to Gavin Rossdale for doing a good job in his acting debut in that movie.

| Speaking of the Devil. Keanu actually played a good role in the Devil's Advocate which I only watched one time. I just couldn't stomach it after that. I can't watch scary movies. I'll admit that I'm a wimp and and a paranoid one at that but like a said before, good acting in that movie.
Also, I love that quote from Parenthood "hell, you even need a license to fish but they'll let any asshole be a father."

| Jennifer Connely? How does no one mention Labrynth? Or did Bowie in spandex cause you all to block it out? I'd like to see him make a come back!
Anyway, she was in House of Sand and Fog which is the most depressing and thought provoking movie ever. You must see it (or read it, but that wasn't the point of this thread).

| Where is Kirstie Alley's fat ass. Or anyone from Cheers. Shelly Long, Ted Danson, Woody, George..... I need some James Belushi, give me a K-9 part 4. Steve Guttenberg bring on the Police Academy 9 or the 3 men and a senior citizen lady. Where has my Beverly Deangelo gone. If Cousin Eddie(Dennis Quaid) can make another vacation movie then why can't you show your once bodacious boobs in another one? Yes Keanu was shite but what about his famous co-star in bill and ted's... Alex Winter. Or what about the entire cast of Porky's and Dazed and Confused. fudge it they still make more money than I do doing nothing. | |

| Shelley Long, I saw Troop Beverly Hills th other night. Alex Winter? He was in Lost Boys.
As far as Dazed and Confused, Milla Jovavich is still doing stuff, Resident Evil movies. Jason London is doing B movies, Rory Cochran is going to be in Public Enemies with Depp and Bale. Adam Goldberg is super busy, Matthew McConaughey, Cole Hauser is still working B movies, Joey Lauren Adams still working, can't forget Ben Affleck! Looking them up, most of these guys are still working. Even Carl is doing stuff, and of course, Parker Posey. I forgot how many people were in that movie.

| Parker Posey is hot. So is Jennifer Connelly. I probably didn't mention Labyrinth because she was like 10 in that. But seriously, I think she is a terrific, very high IQ actress who has the resume to prove it. When I saw Career Opportunities way back when that came out, I was like, Whoa. Connelly's performance in Labyrinth is like Judy Garland in The Wizard of Oz or Fairuza Balk in Return to Oz. Strange places of fantasy featuring precocious youngsters.
Claire Danes, Scarlett Johansson, Charlize Theron, other great actresses. But hey, did any of you like the mob movies like The Godfather, Casino, etc. Quite violent but plenty of funny things and an introduction to the mafia before the days of "The Sopranos."

| Godfather 1 was great, the DeNiro half of part 2 was great, part 3 was, eh. Casino is awesome, Goodfellas is a classic. Donnie Brasco is one of my favorite movies of all time. | |

| Awesome! I gotta admit, I own 3 of the movies of which you speak. I've had one guy tell me he knew some mobsters. I didn't believe him and said, "Like who?" (He was from New York). He said that he couldn't tell me in case they found out and they'd be mad. He assured me they had his back. He was a friend, so no I didn't say anything to cause this. I actually met him when I needed some help, and he gave me a sportsman's Bible which I still use to carry around - it's tiny and awesome. It's one of the best gifts I ever got, even though I already had a couple of Bibles.
Everybody please come back and talk some more. We should keep this up even after the reunion just to chat since we all know one another, it's like a social event.
