| I was pulling for Ron Paul. I like the constitutionalist view. The guy makes the most sense. I don't totally agree with his foreign policy, but I would rather disagree with one policy than 20 like I do with the other guys.
I don't really care for any of the politicians we have left. That's all they are. They are telling the public whatever they think will get them elected. I guess I'm voting for McCain, but I'm not happy about it.
I don't like the fact that this country is run by politicians. Their main focus is to get re-elected and not necessarily do what's best for the country. It's like a parent who wants to be cool with their kids so they will let them drink at an early age. Sometimes you have to make your kids do something they don't like. _________________ thanks for registering everyone, be sure to post and spread the word! |

| It's basically an election between Hillary and Obama anyway. I guess I'll vote for whichever one gets the ticket. I think McCain has dementia or alzheimers.
I would totally vote for Hillary though. She's a bitch. And bitches get things done. Booyah! |

| i will respond to this soon enough. I have already put a full page into this topic but it did not take so I have to get drunk enough for my other self to come out and play again. He had some very strong opinions on government in general. When he does come out please take no offense cause he truly hates everyone including me. I have many cuts, bruises, and burns because he is a dick but he speaks the truth. Just be prepared. _________________ The world is going crazy, I am just cutting in line. |

| Who does the pro-gun but pro-tree, anti-war but anti- thoughtless quick withdrawl, pro-universal healthcare but also pro-life chick vote for? It makes me furious that I have to choose from people who aren't allowed to think outside their party box if they want even a prayer for actually getting elected. This partison stuff is crap. We neeed a third and fourth party canidate. All in favor say, "this is crap!"
In short, I still haven't decided and my primary ballot is due in the mail tomorrow.
By the way, here in the land-o-hippie we actually vote on everything by mail. How great is that? And we vote on EVERYTHING. Every few months we get a ballot for whatever new measure is being discussed. I don't really know what the elected officials of granola country even actually do because we vote one more nit picky junk than you would ever believe. I love it! |

| As far as Hillary is concerned. She's already broken down and cried on the campaign trail be cause "the boys weren't playing fair". I think that is a red flag of someone we don't need to be running the most powerful country in the world. Personally, I think it was a fake cry to get some votes, but I still don't trust her to be in command. _________________ thanks for registering everyone, be sure to post and spread the word! |

| Skyla...I have your dilemna...although some of our views are opposites.
I honestly (and I get yelled at for this a lot seeing that my dad is a politician at the county level) don't vote if I don't agree with one of the candidates. And seeing that I have never liked one single candidates views and the direction that they are campaigning, I have yet to vote. Obama is the closest for me...and not just cause I live in ATL. |

| I hope the word filter is still on.
I think your all fudged in the head if you think it matters who you vote for. We are moving towards globalism and away from Nationalism. Its the main directive of the government so dem, reb, or ind. it doesn't matter. Immigration is a non issue because once the super highway from Mexico to Canada is fully open than our borders will be fully open also. The War continues to, well continue because we won't take the fucking gloves off and bust some heads to our full capabilities. The shit is going to hit the fan its just a matter of how long.
I believe the Democratic party will bring us down quicker than the Republicans but its a moot point because we will end up in the same place eventually anyway. Once the borders open there will be a push to unite North America as one nation. When that happens there will be the push for a renewed constitution because ours will not be accepted by Mexico and Canada. We will lose our rights one by one but the first to go is the 2nd amendment. Which is something that the United Nations has been pushing for for at least a decade now. Its not crack pot theories people its happening now. _________________ The world is going crazy, I am just cutting in line. |

| You are 100% right. But it's not a fight I am personally going to give up on. That's why it is more important to vote for your local senators and congressmen than it is to vote for the president. _________________ thanks for registering everyone, be sure to post and spread the word! |

| Hurley, you sound like an Oregonian. Our rights are disappearing. The Supreme Court ruled that they can take our land and sell it to corperations just to get a fatter check come tax time. That's so fundamentally unAmerican. In some states our right to bear arms is a joke. And now your right to homeschool your kids instead of letting the government undereducate them and over exploit them is considered uncostitutional in CA.
But all that you say is what makes it even more important to get involved. It's our responsibilty to step up and try for something better, even if it is just easing our transition into a global community, rather than just sit back and bitch without contribution. |

| California is lost. If it wasn't for the amount of cheese they produce I wouldn't care but I am a cheese freak. I don't know if it passed but a bill was proposed to not allow parents to spank their children in their own home. I am against child abuse in any form but sometimes little asses need to be popped. The homeschooling think is fudged.
The imminent domain law is effective every where now and is the main reason I avoid Wal-Mart at all cost because they jack land left and right.
Its sad when states infringe on solid constitutional rights. Some guns have to be made special to own them in CA. To see California legal is a joke. Now I do agree some things don't need to be readily available. Full auto and silencers are and should be regulated. To the extent it is regulated is some what annoying. Tennessee allows both but with alot of hoops to jump through. Washington state however is one of the oddest states besides California. Washington's laws have weird side notes. You can legally have sex with animals...As long as the animal is not injured in the process. So you can bang a horse but not a rabbit. There are business establishments set up for that oddity. Gives a new twist to Animal Farm. Vegas has the Bunny Ranch so I guess Goat sex farm had to come along sooner or later. You can legally buy and own a silencer for guns...But you cannot legally fire a silenced weapon. _________________ The world is going crazy, I am just cutting in line. |

| By the way don't worry about guns worry about ammo. Unless you reload you will soon be screwed if you don't stock up now. If you own a gun buy as much ammo as you can cause its fixing to be like gas, the prices are going to go through the roof. _________________ The world is going crazy, I am just cutting in line. |

| I never associated CA with cheese. Wasn't that Wisconsin?
Don't get me started on the spanking thing. Spanking is a sin in hippie land. We have been blessed with kids that haven't yet needed a pop, but I think that not everyone gets so lucky. And it's easy for these stoned out parents to not get to overworked when their kid draws with a sharpie on the couch.
And when CA was trying to pass that law our local news station ran a story on it. The wole time the anchor was talking about spanking they were running that video survalence footage where that mom is litterally punching he baby in the head while he's buckled into a car seat. I was in a rage!!!! What the hell does that woman brutally beating her kid have to do with spanking? The granola people really don't see a difference between the two. |

| I have to agree on the spanking Hurley! My daughter does receive pops ever now and then. I was also raised that way. I Suppose I'm a little old school but I expect my child to behave. She's a good kid but time outs don't always solve the problem.
I haven't decided who I'm voting for yet. I'm just sick of all the drama with Hillary and Obama. |

| Yes, Wisconsin is the state for cheese. My husband drives a truck and he has told me that there are all kinds of cheese stores along the interstate there. He has even bought some for us at one of them before. So Phillip, if you like cheese that much you would love the cheese stores in Wisconsin. I think the one my husband went to was called Tim and Toms cheese shop. If you are curious to see what they have they have a website. They have all kinds of cheese. Some of them even sound gross but I guess there are some people that think they are good. Like garlic cheese....yuck, no thanks!
Well anyway, about the spanking thing. Yes we spank too. There are times when it is just needed. I believe that that is one of the reasons why there are so many brat kids now is because the parents don't give a crap about how their kids behave so they just don't discipline them. Like for instance not too long ago my kids had a winter dance at their school. Pete and I took them and everything was great but at the end of the night we were still there with a few of the other parents. We were all waiting for the photographer to finish printing all their pictures. So the kids that were waiting on their parents were running around the gym and Alexis (our middle daughter that is in kindergarten) was talking to some boy that was in 3rd or 4th grade I think, when all of a sudden he pushed her down in the floor. I mean her feet came up off the floor. I was so freakin pissed! I went running over there and told that brat kid "Don't you ever push her again!" My voice was loud cause you know how everything echos in a gym. He had a look on his face like, uh oh, someone saw me. All the little brat said to me was, "She was bothering me." So I told him "You don't push people over if they bother you, you need to walk away from them." Guess what the mom did? Not a freaking thing. Pete had told me that he even had heard that kid's mom talking to another mom earlier that night telling her how her sons get into fights all the time with each other and she just lets them fight it out. All of you with kids, wouldn't that just piss you off!? Wouldn't that make you mad as hell to see some brat kid do that to your child?! |
