If you can believe it.... My husband is the one and only person I have ever been with. I can't say the same for him since I have a ten year old step son.

I do have a question for the married people ..... how many times a week is normal? Maybe we could do a poll? Seeing how I just had a child ........ sex falls somewhere between ...

sleeping Sleep

breastfeeding
getting the baby out of the bed...she still sleeps with us because she still eats at night.
taking a shower so I don't smell like baby poop or puke
letting the dog out to pee. She always comes in and whines??? Haven't figured that one out yet.
keeping the three year old occupied
all of this for 5 mins in the closet or shower so we don't wake the baby and the three year old doesn't have a clue.

I'm getting too old for sex on the hard floor. HELP

I avoid sex as much as possible because it causes children. Jim Beam had a helping hand with the 2 I got already. With kids already I don't know that there is a normal amount. Its more of a take it when you can get it. Hard floors arn't as bad as carpet burn.

That would include carpet burn! My husband is getting a Vasectomy sometime soon. So hopefully the kid thing won't be a factor much longer. Very Happy

Kayla, I feel your pain. The 'ole sex life has tanked since we had children. It used to be every day, then after Leojon it was three times a week, now it's like once a week. sad sad sad.

I'll overlook Hurley's question and address Kayla's. Ignore the kid in the bed. They're heavy sleepers! She'll never wake up if you slip out (or even if you don't). No matter how tired you are you'll never regret having squeezed it in. But closet and shower? Do you people not own any couches? THe saddest thing is when all 3 end up in our bed and we sneak out to have sex in a bed shaped like a fire truck or a princess castle. Ouch!

I, however, have way too many kids way too close together so feel free to ignore my advice until your man gets the snip. affraid

Joe got snipped in Sept. and let me tell you how nice it is to not have to worry. I still have a bit of lingering anxiety over getting pregnant again so I joke that I'm going to make himm take in a sample to be checked every 6 months.

Skyla please tell my wife that. I married a nympho. I can and have gone months without but its like stabbing her in the head. She wants every night and I am trying to bargin for once a month. I am all like, just show me a titty and I am cool. I have to watch the womens shows to see what excuses they give to the men so I can turn them around and use them on her. I can only have so many head aches. Don't get me wrong the naked female body is awesome but I don't have a need to insert myself into that body. If I could paint it I would but I am not artsy. I so am the Al Bundy/ Archie Bunker of my time, my boss was right.

Thanks, Hurley. That was my favorite snuggly sweatshirt, but I threw it away after it got thrown up on a few too many times to ever feel clean again. Ahhh, the glamorous life of motherhood!

I'll tell your wife only if you promise never to tell my husband that there is a mother of small children out there who still wants it every day! That would blow my excuse. 3-4 times a week is plenty for me. I can only cram myself into the tiny fire truck bed so often and, no joke, our couch just collapsed last month - not from naughtiness, though. I don't think...
