| By the way the word filter is still on. I cannot drop the f-bomb, when I type it, it comes out as fudge but you get the point anyway. Whats funny is now I just type the word fudge, maybe I should have had a word filter as a kid. If I type fudge twice in a row however I can get the word I want but thats just to much trouble. Enjoy.
Equality. Say it to your self. Its a powerful word. Its a hard word to grasp. This might be an offensive post but I don't give a fudge. I will contradict my self alot in this post so don't send a reply saying I did cause I already know.
True or false? All men/(now women cause you some how gained the right to vote. Damn Wyoming to this day.) are created equal. Just kidding ladies you earned it so no shit from Skyla on that one(you'll have plenty more opportunities though). I always answer false. Its not an asshole thing but not all people are equal. A 28 year old man with down syndrome is not equal to me. He might look better and could possibly be better in bed but his mental capacity is not the same. I had a guy with down syndrome cashing me out at Target and that mother fudger looked at his computer screen for at least five minuets before he gave me my change and on top of that he was an asshole. I thought those guys were all nice like Corky or the one from the McDonalds commercial but he was an asshole. When I finally got my change I told him being a dumb ass and an asshole is no way to go through life. Which I would have said to anyone else in the same situation. Does that make me an ass? Probably, but the tards and cripples want equality just like they deserve right.
Equality has always been a popular idea. It took a black guy to have a dream and then to tell the nation about that dream. Then that man was shot and that particular dream became infamous. Thank God he didn't dream about banging the Gabor sisters the night before. There is no telling how his race would be treated today.
It all starts as equality. Equality however is just not enough. Then it becomes a chance to get ahead but not by bettering your self. Instead it becomes more desirable to pull others down rather than pull your self up. No Child Left Behind is the worst fucking idea that has ever been presented in the history of our country. The old school hippie liberal pussies banded together to become politicians and decided to mix in the dumb ass kids and the smart kids. Do you see what that has caused? Kids who don't know the most basic subjects. Kids who can't recite the States and Capitals or the Presidents of the U.S. or that can point out on a map the 7 continents or 4 oceans and name them. Thats the most basic shit you can know besides how to add and subtract.
Do you want to be equal or do you want to be special? Why should people who fudge their lives up be rewarded for it? Why should an unwed single mother be more deserving of federal money to pay for college than me. Why should project whores who have multiple children for the sole purpose of getting more government money be allowed to continue?
Why can't rights just be rights and acceptable? Why must it be Gay Rights, Muslim Rights, Black Rights, I like to fudge animals Rights....? Big fuckin deal a gay can't marry another gay in 98% of the nation. Let me warn you homos now, It ain't all its cracked up to be. Move in stay monogamous for a few years and then you'll get it. If you still want to get married after that than your not just gay but also fudged in the head. So your black and you've been oppressed for a few hundred years. So fuckin what. Look at the Jews. They have been oppressed for... I don't know for fucking ever. Get over yourselves. Just ask, What can brown do for you? At least you have a few colors to grab up. What do the Jews have? Well besides the Movie industry, the Television industry, the News Paper industry, oh and all the banks. Ok my bad the Jews are a bit more prestigious than the blacks but I would never and I repeat never buy bar-b-que from a damn Jew. _________________ The world is going crazy, I am just cutting in line.

| I am not scared of you or your topic! Living in the very diverse city of Atlanta...I have found that the equality of people is a very hot topic that no one wants to do anything about but bitch and moan.
All I know is that I am a woman...a white woman who happens to make a decent living and isn't scary to look at. I am going to use what I was blessed with...if that makes someone view me as "a lesser person" then fine. Do I feel that I am better than others? Not really. We all have our strengths and weaknesses.
I have no ill feelings towards anyone no matter what race, religion, employment, etc. What creates those feelings is the attitude people have. Period. Therefore I am not going to treat them any different.
I may not be able to change the way the world views others...but at least I can keep myself in check. |

| I don't know why anyone would be scared of me. I am just a little guy. I just get annoyed when I hear how far we have come as a nation when I think we advanced a little then slipped backwards again. _________________ The world is going crazy, I am just cutting in line. |

| We got into it over a similar topic with my mom's boyfriend recently who said, "No one is better that anyone else." And we were both saying, "Well, that's nice and all and it might look cute stitched on a throw pillow, but the reality is there are some obvious cases where a person is better than another." Say, uh, Mother Terressa (sp?) is for sure not equal to say the unibomber. He may have been mentally ill and not responsible for his actions, but none the less he is not so good as any old do gooder on the streets.
I certainly do not share the intensity of your irritation, Hurley, but the equality thing has been tossed around and pimped out and twisted to represent something far more over reaching than it's original political idea, which in my opinion was just that the majority of hard working, law-abiding citizens deserve equal rights.
I don't think race or religion is the divider, but there are deffinately things that create legitimate inequality. Like the ability to follow basic laws of the land. Why do prisoners get not even the same rights as I do, but more? I don't have cable TV or free health care. Why do they? I get pretty pissed when I hear my mother-in- law who is a nurse at Folsom prison tell me that our tax dollars paid for a male prisoner to get estrogen therapy so he could grow his own breasts and get more prison action. What? I still owe my dentist money and he gets free breats? In that way, the liberaly granola notion of equality has gone way overboard.
By the way...what's with Jews and BBQ? What about a half Jew? Would you eat a BBQ sanwich I made? I WOULD have to charge you for it! |

| Nope, I have tried bbq made by many different ethnicities and easily came to the conclusion that if a black person ain't cooking it I don't eat it. i would however go see a movie you made and gladly pay. I kid, I kid. What is Jewish food? I know the wops have pasta, the blacks have bbq, and the Chinese have buffet but I didn't know if there was a special Jewish dish.
If it were not for the prisoners though I couldn't watch lock up. I love that show. I am a huge supporter of prison reform. I was a huge supporter of the death penalty until I read the Innocent Man by John Grisham. There are so many backwoods ass towns that prosecute people at random that I can't fully support an eye for an eye anymore. Jackass lawyers have skewed the law so much that alot of shit slips through the crack. _________________ The world is going crazy, I am just cutting in line. |

| | Lets see...we have matza balls (nasty lard balls in a chicken broth), latkes (yummy potato pancakes) and apples with honey seem to be big. And by we I mean that I was forced to consume these things on holidays. Holidays, you see, were the only times that we were officially jewish. My mom, who if you didn't know this already, is literally crazy and pretending to be a Jew even though no one in our family has practiced in generations made her feel special and exciting. Sending me to Church of Christ school with a star of David around my neck was a special type of torture all her own. |

| Your mom is like Doug the Head from Snatch. Potato pancakes sound interesting. Overall though Jewish food does not sound tastey. Not only have Jews dealt with being persecuted for ever their food is bad too. Wheres the equlity in that. Its like rich people being pretty. You should not be allowed to have both. _________________ The world is going crazy, I am just cutting in line. |

| This is to all who read this post. Watch the movie Snatch. It is possibly my favorite of all time. It is similar to Pulp Fiction, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and The Boondock Saints.
Doug the Head is a character in Snatch who acts Jewish and tells people he is Jewish and makes his family act Jewish because he is in the jewelry business and wants to sound more prestigious. _________________ The world is going crazy, I am just cutting in line. |

| When I was in college, I worked at the KFC and if I told you what they do to make BBQ sandwiches, you would want to not know anymore. I had to make the BBQ and I had to serve it. African-Americans ate it, so therefore this disproves the theory that I have to be black to make BBQ. In fact, they would either ask for it, or wings most of the time. There was always that person who just wanted lean-meat grilled chicken with no sauce.
I'm just kidding, really. I'm sure my experiences as cook, server, and dishwasher are very exciting (NOT!) At any rate, I never got to know Colonel Sanders' famous blend of spices. |

| OK. Equality. . .
Do I think all people are equal? No. Do I think that all people have an inherent right to people treated equally? Yes.
The real bottom line is that no person has the right to judge whether or not I am entitled to something (except maybe the Court of Law). Therefore, we are all entitled to the same basic things under the Constitution: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Now, I'm not about to go around commiting crimes in order to insure that I obtain the basic triumverant. However, I think everyone is entitled to have a go at it in their own way.
I have learned over my lifetime that it does not profit a person to look at another person and say "that person is better than me" or "I am better than that person". I am no one to judge the heart of another person. I am not God. I will leave the judgment of another to God. I will not speculate on the inner machinations of their heart/soul/mind.
You may say that a Serial Killer is not half the man as the Pope. However, do you know what lays in the heart of either? Could one repent before they die while the other turns to sin? All sin is equal in the eyes of God while in the eyes of man there are many and varied shades of grey.
One person may say that a man has more value than a woman. That may be so. But it depends on the situation. Can a man give birth to a child and nurture it through infancy? (excluding the recent events, and that "man" actually used to be a woman) However, a man can do many things a woman cannot (not that I can think of any right now).
When I look at a person, I don't see their race/ethnicity or their "handicap". I just see a person. |
