| Yeah, Allen, Mr. Hamlett is still on SportsTalk with the other guys that do it with him at the time Jennifer specified. I have listened to him for the past two years. I call in to talk about my Chicago Cubs and Bears alot, or to consider the fate of each year's Wildcat basketball team (since the football team - I pretty much know they are not going to fare well. Even so, the Cubs haven't won since 1908 so we have a ways to go with them also).
I asked Hamlett how can I make peace with my girlfriend's mother since I am a diehard Cubs fan and she is a lifer St. Louis Cardinals fan. He instructed me to not get her a broom, but to get her some flowers. And I always say "I wanna say hi to Mr. Hamlett from Goodpasture" and he used to say "I like the sound of that voice" or "that's a voice I know." Try it, it's fun! |
