What all do you use to communicate with friends and family? Or to communicate in general?

Does anyone blog? I just started, but I'm relocating it from blogger to wordpress. Wordpress is a little more complicated, once I figure it out, I will link it here.

I love forums, but they can be time consuming, so I am mainly limiting my forum time to this forum.
